14. Throw out behind the leader's back turn

Lady will make a traveling
left (counterclockwise) turn
and..

...and travel to in front
of the gent where they
reassume close position

As in the throw out, this pattern starts with a come around and is the same as the throw out up to count 5. After count 5...

For the leader: On 6, the leader steps with his left foot so that his body is in front of the follower. He leads the follower behind by pulling her back with his right hand and pushing her back with his left hand. On 7, he kicks with his right foot. Depending on how tall the follower is, the leader should have his left arm crossed over his right shoulder unless the follower is too short in which case the leader may cross his left arm under his right arm. On 8, the leader steps to the right with his right foot and gives the follower a slight pull with his left hand to send the follower past his left side from the behind to in front of the leader. Still continuing with the combination in counts of 8, on 1, he steps back with his left, reaches out to his left with his right arm, and catches the follower lightly making contact. On 2, he crosses over his left foot with his right foot. On 3, he steps with his left foot around clockwise and takes a hold of the follower's right hand with his left. On 4, he does a hold with his right foot. The last four steps, counts 1-4, are break time footwork.

For the follower: On 6, the follower steps with her right foot and is slightly behind the leader as she is led back. On 7, she kicks with her left foot. On 8, she steps forward and to the left with her right foot as she begins to turn counterclockwise. Still continuing with the combination in counts of 8, on 1, she steps around 180 degrees with her left foot. On 2, she steps 90 degrees counterclockwise with her left foot. On 3, she steps with her right foot. On 4 she holds with her left foot. The last four steps, counts 1-4, are break time footwork.
