to closed dance positionCircle breaks, a break time pattern, are the first four counts of a come around followed by a first position push break. As the footwork of these two patterns is repeated, the leader and follower should sit away from one another slightly and allow the centrifugal force of their motion to place the follower’s back firmly into the palm of the leader’s right hand. This pattern can be repeated until the leader does the second half of the come around to get into basic footwork.
