Leader's hand slides down to
her hand on 8
This is an 8-count pattern done in combination with a 360 turn (short for "360 degree turn")or swing out. The heels are done on the 1,2 counts following completion of a 360 turn or swing out.
After doing a 360 turn (a full turn),
- the leader uses the circular momentum on 8 to let his right hand slide the length of the follow's left arm
- On 1 both lean and counter-balance back on their heels
- On 2, both leader and follower spring forward
- On 3,4 the leader reconnects with his right hand on the follower's left shoulder.
The footwork for the leader and follower for counts 3-8 is the same as in the 360 turn, or, the leader could choose to do another figure after the heels on 1,2.
