13. Tuck double turn from closed position

This is an eight count pattern.

For the leader:

On 1,2, he does a rock step and pivots the follower into a rock step by opening up with his right hand and by pressing slightly with his left palm against the knuckles of the follower’s right hand. If the follower has proper frame she should step back into a rock step. Between 2 and 3 the leader pivots the follower counter clockwise between 45 to 90 degrees. On 3, The leader raises his left hand face level, opens his hand and stops the follower by pressing against her right hand and completes his triple &4. On 5, he presses on her left shoulder blade with his right hand and goes step step as he turns the follower one and one-half times. He then finishes the pattern by going triple sit on 7&8.

For the follower:

On 1,2, the follower is led back into a rock step. On 3&4, she is leader forward into a triple push. On 5, the follower steps around counter clockwise 180 degrees with her right foot. On 6, the follower steps counter clockwise 180 degrees with her left foot. On 7, the follower steps around another 180 degrees and on &8 she finishes with the last two steps of her triple sit.

Suggested Combinations:
1. starter step, send out, whip shoulder turn release, lindy circle, basic
2. starter step, tuck double turn from closed position, lindy circle, basic
3. starter step, tuck double turn from closed position, whip, whip shoulder turn release, lindy circle, basic

On the tuck, She is looking
back in the direction
of the double turn.

    

His hand should be softly
over the center of her head
drawing tiny circles as she turns.

It is the leader's responsibility
to adapt to the movement of
the lady, so If two turns is
too many, a single turn would
do nicely!
