DanceTutor's PayPal Page
(PayPal payments should be made to sales@DanceTutor.com )

We recommend payment by credit card as an efficient, immediate and, in our opinion, entirely safe method of payment. However, for those without credit cards and for those who would prefer an alternative to credit card payment, PayPal may be the best internet choice. Here is how it works.

You must set up your account at www.paypal.com. It is free to set up a PayPal account and it is free to make payments via PayPal. All one needs to set up a PayPal account is an email address. All fees in connection with PayPal payments are made by the company receiving the payments, in this case DanceTutor.com. The reason for the popularity of PayPal payments is that no information except the email address of the sender is disclosed. We read that it is the number 1 alternative to credit card payment on the internet, and is the most widely used form of payment at Ebay. Business friends tell us it has worked flawlessly for them.

Once you are registered at www.dancetutor.com (username and password) and have a PayPal account, all you do is go to your PayPal account at PayPal's website (again, www.paypal.com), go to "send money", and fill in the form. We will receive the form and herein lies the important part. In addition to the payment, you must identify us in the form as " sales@DanceTutor.com " and give us the information we need to put you in our system. The information we need is: Here is a copy of the form that you will find at PayPal's "Send Money" page with sample information filled in. The information in the PayPal form you send us should look something like the following. Notice the recipient is sales@DanceTutor.com (email addresses are not case sensitive, so any capital or small letters are ok). Of course, the form must be sent from PayPal's website, not from here:

Okay, we would receive the above minutes after you would send it to us, and we would locate your DanceTutor username and password and put you into DanceTutor system for lindy 1 for 2 months. Within 24 hours probably, but we're saying 48 hours to be safe, We would notify you by email that you are set up. That's it. You're in. Then, log in at www.dancetutor.com and follow the prompts to the table of contents for your chosen dance (in the above example, lindy 1) and from there you will be able to access the pages. (Remember, you must be logged in at DanceTutor in order to have access to your dance lesson.)

To assist you in putting the information in the "Note" section of the PayPal form, you may copy and paste (*** see below for explanation of copy and paste) any of the following. Don't forget after copying and pasting to include your DanceTutor username and password.

Copy one or more of the following and paste them to the form at PayPal. After (and not before) pasting at PayPal, don't forget to insert your DanceTutor username and password

*** For those unfamiliar with the terms, here is how to copy and paste, which is copying computer text from one place to another without having to re-type it. Here's how. First, move the cursor over the desired text while holding down the mouse. The highlighted text will change color and is said to be "selected" (Try it with the text on this page). Next, copy it to the invisible clipboard by either of two methods: 1) Click edit in the menu at the top of the program, and then click "copy" on the drop down menu, or 2) press two keys on the keyboard at the same time, the "control" key and the "c" key. Either way you have just copied the selected (highlighted) text to the invisible clipboard of the computer where it can be dropped anywhere you can type text. Dropping copied text into a program from the clipboard is called pasting.

To paste text from the clipboard, open any program and page and put your cursor where the text is to appear and do either of 2 things: 1) click "Edit" at the top of the screen and then click "paste" on the drop down menu, or 2) press two keys on the keyboard at the same time, the "control" key and the "v" key.

One thing to remember is that whereas computer text can be copied anywhere from any program, it can only be pasted where the user can type text. A second thing to remember is that the invisible clipboard retains the text copied to it until either something else is copied (which replaces the previously copied text), or, the computer is turned off.
