1g. Traveling triple stepHere's a traveling triple step basic. If there's room on the floor to travel, why not? Bob is leading or steering Eva with gentle pressure on both her right hand and back, as well as with his own movement. If you are going to travel, you'll need to do the triple step as neither the single step nor the kick step "feet rhythms" will get you there.
The lowered arm as well as slight
pressure on the back signal
to the lady to travelAnother way to verbalize the triple step (forgetting the traveling aspect for the moment), is
One-Two-Three, One-Two-Three, Back-Step
That's it for the basic positions and feet rhythms. In Chapter Two, we'll see transitions between open to closed positions. With that, you'll have the foundation for learning the fancier moves in chapters 3 and 4.
