On 3 - 4 he turns around to face the lady, and on 5 - 6 they backstep.
The lady knows to move forward by the man's gentle pressure on her hand in that direction.
As is almost always the case, gent and lady have completed their turns by count 4, and are facing each other for the backstep on counts 5 and 6.
If for some reason either is not facing the other for the backstep, no problem. Just keep turning while stepping on 5.
