Welcome visitors from Argentine Tango 4. Here is one of five poses that appear in Argentine Tango 2.

9a. Pose #1

(no music with this video)

This pose is all about keeping the follower on her axis! The pose is set up by a rock with a quarter turn. The leader steps out of the follower's way on the turn so that she can step straight forward out of her rock and pivot into the pose. She should not feel as if she has to step around him. As he sinks into a small lunge, he holds her up so that she knows she should not lunge with him.
